Strengthen communication capabilities within the CoA-SNAO Project

On October 24-26, the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoA) hosted the delegation of the Swedish National Audit Office (SNAO).

The main objective of the visit was to organize discussions, interviews, workshops on the internal and external communication of the Supreme Audit Institution.

The SNAO delegation was represented by Dag Levin-Sparr, Principal Adviser and Audit Director, International Development, Anna-Maria Böök, Head of Communication, Ingela Ekblom, senior consultant.

According to the agenda, during two working days, members of CoA’s Board participated in training in management techniques, leadership, internal and external communication. The workshops were organized in the form of presentations, discussions, practical exercises, exchange of views, teamwork, etc.

Anna-Maria Böök, Head of Communication, SNAO, reported on the experience and best practices in the field of internal and external communication of SAI Sweden, presenting interesting topics such as "SAI Communication Processes linking Strategic Operations", "SAI Internal and external Communication". The Swedish expert Dag Levin-Sparr reported on the annual planning of SAI activities and the correlation with internal and external communication.

In this context, Swedish experts had discussions with representatives of the General Division for Planning, Methodology, Quality Control and professional Training, and the External Relations and Communication Section. Discussions were focused on communication strategy topics, effective communication processes, stakeholder collaboration, platforms, tools, communication channels, exchange of practices, etc.

At the end of the working visit, the SNAO delegation met with Veaceslav Untila, President of the CoA, where the experts spoke about the impressions of internal and external communication within the CoA, highlighting the performance of the institution in the given field. Mr. Untila thanked the SNAO experts for the visit and the effort to improve the work of the Supreme Audit Institution. "We do not lose the opportunity to learn every time from our development partners," said the President.
