On February 19, the CoA attended the information session on the launching of the third Call for Proposals under the Danube Transnational Program 2014-2020.
The State Chancellery in collaboration with the Program’s structures organized the event. The Court of Accounts was represented by Tatiana Vozian, Head of Division, member of the Project Auditor Group.
The Danube Transnational Program 2014-2020 finances projects in areas such as environment and culture, energy connectivity and responsibility, governance, innovation and social responsibility. They aim to improve public policies and institutional cooperation in the Danube region through an expanded transnational partnership, in line with common EU provisions and in close connection with the objectives of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (SUERD).
The eligible area of the Program comprises 14 states: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany (Baden Wurttemberg and Bavaria), Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Moldova and Ukraine. For our country, the entire territory is eligible, and the beneficiary institutions will participate as full-fledged partners.
During the information session on the elaboration and submission of the proposals under the third call, the results of the participation of the Moldovan partners in the two previously launched calls were reviewed. The discussions also focused on the procedure for the submission of project proposals. Another topic presented in the workshop was the National Control System and the eligibility of expenditure.
Please note that the third call for proposals was launched on January 28, and the deadline for submitting the expression of interest is March 8, 2019.
