The Court of Accounts will carry out the audit of the financial reports of the National Integrity Authority

Starting the 15th of January this year, the Court of Accounts (CoA) will carry out the audit of the financial reports of the National Integrity Authority (NIA) that were due to be presented until the 31st of December 2019.

The audit missions at the National Integrity Authority will be organized according to the international audit standards implemented by the Court of Accounts as well as to the legal framework of the institution. The mission aims to reasonably assure that the financial reports were not distorted by any frauds or mistakes and to express the CoA’s opinion on the reports.

In this context, during one of the initiating meetings of the audit mission, Vasile Mosoi, Head of the General Department of Audit V, has informed the National Integrity Authority’s President, Rodica Antoci, about the objectives of the audit mission, the means of communication of auditors with the verified entity and about the strategy and criteria that form the basis of the audit mission.
