In order to produce qualitative reports it is strictly necessary to ensure quality control at all stages of the audit, said Ecaterina Paknehad, Head of the Staff of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM) during an internal training session.
In this context, the CoARM’s employees participated today, November 22, in a training session entitled “Creating better audit reports. Design of an Audit Report”. The training session was moderated by Ecaterina Paknehad, and was performed throughout teleconference.
The purpose of this training session was to highlight the requirements to be met when preparing compliance and performance audit reports, by providing guidance and examples of good practice in this context.
About 90 participants were informed about the methodological requirements for writing audit reports, compliance with general quality requirements, team communication and communication with the audited entity, examples of working documents at the execution stage, etc. Increased attention was also paid to inadmissible issues when drafting an audit report.
Finally, the training participants mentioned the need to finalize the institutional approach on compliance and performance audits, and the consistent application of existing methodological provisions. At the same time, the need to develop and approve a standardized set of applicable working documents is to be examined
