Familiarizing the employees of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM) with the need to implement a framework of professional skills and assessing the level of job satisfaction will contribute to strengthening the institutional climate.
In this context, on May 16, an online meeting took place with the participation of all the CoARM’s employees. During the meeting, the participants were informed about the conduct of the second survey on assessing the satisfaction of the CoARM’s employees at work, the first survey being organized at the end of 2019.
Andrei Munteanu, Member of the CoARM stressed the importance of this exercise in order to identify weaknesses in several aspects related to working conditions, peer communication, cooperation during the pandemic period, etc.
Also, the employees of the CoARM were familiarized with the draft of the professional competences framework and the need to develop and implement it.
The Professional Competences Framework is a human resources management tool that defines the skills relevant to employee development, mentioned Ecaterina Paknehad, Head of the Apparatus of the CoARM.
The importance of this tool derives from the ability of a supreme audit institution to fulfill its mandate and to perform efficient and high quality audits, which largely depends on the professionalism, integrity and competence of its staff.
We mention that the elaboration and implementation of the survey, as well as of the professional competence framework were carried out with the support of the Swedish National Audit Office and will contribute to the improvement of the institutional climate, internal communication, working environment, management policies etc.
