The process of monitoring the implementation of the recommendations of the external public audit is a component part of the public audit activity and represents a sequence of logically structured activities, organized within the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM).
Thus, the CoARM’s auditors benefited from internal training with the generic "Implementation of the provisions of the Regulation regarding the monitoring of the implementation of the recommendations of the external public audit" held on April 13. The need to conduct the training was determined by the approval of the new version of the mentioned regulation.
In his speech opening the training sessions, Alexandru Munteanu, Member of CoARM, mentioned the importance of monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations in establishing the impact of the CoARM.
The internal trainers reported on the regulatory area of the regulation, the areas of application, the attributions of the monitoring file, the attributions and obligations of the auditors and the process of monitoring the implementation of the Decisions of the Court of Accounts, etc. Thus, about 60 auditors of the CoARM were informed throughout practical examples of working documents drawn up in the context of evaluating the level of implementation of audit recommendations.
The topics covered focused on the responsibility of the audit divisions in this process and the finality, which will increase the impact of the audit. The discussions also focused on the automated information system "Audit CCRM", which ensures the real-time visualization of the information on the actions taken by the audited entities and the targeted institutions in order to execute the audit recommendations, the monitoring of the deadline for their execution, the quantitative and qualitative assessment of the degree of compliance with the recommendations.
