Ambassador of the USA in Moldova visited the CoA

At the meeting Mr. Veaceslav Untila, President of the Court of Accounts and Mr. James D. Pettit, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the USA in Moldova discussed about the cooperation between our countries, USA Projects implemented in Moldova, as well and the external public audit.

President of the CoA informed His Excellency about the activity of the CoA after the new Plenum was appointed, the cooperation with the external partners within the cooperation projects and the collaboration with the stakeholders: Parliament, Government, law bodies and verified entities. In addition, Mr. Untila spoke about the results of the Audit Report "Road Traffic Systems Management" that was recently examined at the meeting of the CoA Plenum.

Mr. Ambassador informed our President about the Projects financed by the USA Government in Moldova, as well and about the importance of the external public audit in monitoring the external funds.
