The CoARM representative participated in the workshop, organized by the Center of Excellence in Finance in Slovenia

The representative of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova participated in the workshop, organized by the Center for Excellence in Finance (CEF) from Ljubljana, Slovenia. The event entitled title "Digitalization and IT systems: fiscal challenges arising from digitalization" took place between May 14-16.

Moreover, about 31 representatives of tax and customs administrations from: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Georgia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia participated in the workshop , Turkey, Ukraine.

During the seminar, various aspects related to the digitization of tax administrations, best practices experiences from various countries were approached. Participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge on digitization in the field of tax administration, exploring future challenges and perspectives in the field.

Several relevant topics were addressed during the workshop, including the globalization of fiscal digitalization. The Dutch expert emphasized the importance of connecting the regulatory framework related to fiscal administration with digitalized processes in order to provide the legal basis for quality service provision through the use of IT tools.

At the end of the discussions, the trainers and participants noted the need to continue the exchange of experience in the field of digitization, an important sector in the public domain, including access, exchange, processing and transfer of data via IT.
