New Twinning missions of the Finnish experts

On 29 February - 4 March 2016, Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova hosted three missions of the Finnish experts in the context of the Twinning project "Consolidation and Strengthening of the External Public Audit in the Republic of Moldova".

The expert missions of Visa Paajanen and Kari Rouvinen took place at activity 1.3 on development and capacity strengthening of the Court of Accounts to carry out performance/system audit and of the EU funds. The expected result is the elaboration of the guidelines for these types of audits.

However, in this period, the foreign experts Johanna Snellman, Anna Saharinen, Ari Sihvola and Arunas Beksta run the mission on providing assistance of mentoring to mid-level leaders. The missions took place at the component on human resources management of the Court of Accounts, activity 3.2 regarding the implementation of the modern procedures of the human resources management under the EU standards and the review of the job descriptions and competency statements in accordance with the changes of the legal framework. The training targets team and individual coaching on leadership and personal development. The training was design for heads of subdivisions from the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova.

The European Union funded the twinning project "Consolidation and Strengthening of the External Public Audit in the Republic of Moldova", being launched in 2014 with its partners, the Finnish Institute of Public Management HAUS and the Spanish Court of Audit.
