President of the CoA at the 44th Meeting of the Governing Board of EUROSAI

On 13-14 June in Luxembourg was held the 44th Meeting of the Governing Board of EUROSAI. The head of the delegation of the Court of Accounts of Moldova (CoA) is Serafim Urechean, the President of CoA, anothe member was Viorica Verdes, head of the Methodology, support, and quality assessment.

The Court of Accounts of Moldova is a member of the Gouaverning Board of EUROSAI for the period of 2014-2020 years.

During the meeting, on the first day there was examined the Activity Report of EUROSAI for 2015, the Governing Program EUROSAI (Young EUROSAI and activities on cooperative audit), the financial statements and the financial report for 2015, the audit report of EUROSAI for 2015, also there were discussed various financial and organizational aspects.

The second day of the meeting was focus on issues related to the Assessment of independence of EUROSAI, the EUROSAI Strategic Development Plan for 2017 - 2023, the EUROSAI cooperation and other strategic issues.

Serafim Urechean was mentioned for contribution in development of cooperation between the CIS member states
