Priority areas of cooperation, discussed by the President of the Court of Accounts during bilateral meetings

Marian Lupu, President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoARM), had bilateral discussions with the delegations of the supreme audit institutions from France and Romania. The meetings were organized on July 12, in the context of the meeting of the Association of Francophone Supreme Audit Institutions (AISCCUF), in Bucharest, Romania.

During bilateral discussions with colleagues from the French Court of Accounts, a series of cooperation objectives in the field of external public audit were established. Also, the delegations held discussions on sharing activities of European good practices and the exchange of experience, with the future directions of bilateral collaboration outlined.

Marian Lupu also had a meeting with Mihai Busuioc, the President of the Romanian Court of Accounts. The heads of the supreme audit institutions outlined a series of joint actions in a European context, to be undertaken by the end of the current year.

We highlight that the CoARM’s President participated, between July 11-12, within the AISCCUF meeting, the event being focused on important themes, such as the audit of the implementation of the UN's sustainable development objectives, with an emphasis on the audit of the funds intended to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact of the ISA's activity on the stakeholders.
