Signing the extending of the Memorandum of Understanding with SNAO

In the context of extending the bilateral cooperation with the Swedish National Audit Office, Mr. Veaceslav Untila, President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova, met with the experts from Sweden.

SNAO delegation was represented by Amanda Söderlund, Senior International Advisor and Performance Auditor, Jan-Åke Nilsson, Senior International Advisor, Audit Director within Financial Audit and new project manager and Ingela Ekblom, Senior International Advisor, Human Resources, Management and Communication.

Mr. Untila thanked the SNAO experts for accepting the initiative of the Court of Accounts to continue the collaboration. CoA's President spoke about the values of the SNAO support for our institution, as a development partner and as a mentor during 10 years.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to extend the implementation period of the Project "Institutional Development Cooperation between the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova and SNAO for 2013-2016" until December 31, 2017.

In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between CoA and SNAO, valid until December 31, 2017.
