Strengthening of the audit quality of the CoA discussed with Mr. Rimantas Latakas, the Ambassador of Lithuania in Moldova

Mr. Veaceslav UNTILA, President of the CoA had a meeting with Mr. Rimantas Latakas, the Ambassador of Lithuania in Moldova at the CoA. During the meeting, the parties discussed about the actual subjects on the bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and Lithuania, including the aspects set up in the Cooperation Agreement between our SAIs.

It were mentioned the projects on institutional consolidation of the CoA, SDP of the CoA for 2016-2020 and the implementation actions. Mr. Veaceslav Untila revealed that the support of the Lithuanian authorities is provided for the implementation of the joint projects on the strengthening institutional capacity of the customs authorities, health and justice, the Republic of Moldova being in the top of seven priority countries for Lithuanian external support.   

It also mentioned the good work of the Moldovan-Lithuanian intergovernmental commission in the field of European integration. President of the CoA also expressed his support for the deepening and strengthening of the cooperation relations between the CoA and the State Control of the Republic of Lithuania, based on the principles of mutual respect, trust and mutually beneficial partnership.
