Study Visit of the Court of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic to the CoA

In the period of 27 - 29 January, the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova (CoA) hosted a study visit paid by the representatives of the Court of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Kyrgyz delegation included:  Mr. Abakirov Ernst, Auditor, Member of the Court, Mr. Kiljiiev Samat, the Director of the Department on Analysis and Methodology, Mrs. Aidyralieva Anara, Senior Expert- Analyst, Mr. Sadycov Zheenbek, State Inspector, Mr. Abdylakimov Ibragim, State Inspector, Mr. Sulaimanov Seitek, Counselor of the President of the Supreme Audit Institution, Mrs. Turgunbekova Elnura, Audit Specialist under the USAID-UNDP Support to National Budget Transparency Project.

The agenda of the visit contained various issues related to exchange of experience.  The representatives of the CoA made some presentations focused on the topics: Role and Attributions of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova;  Methodology of the Annual Audits' Planning; Financial Audit - Compliance to the International Standards ISSAI;  Development of Performance Audit and Informational Technologies Audit in the Republic of  Moldova; Environmental Auditing; Quality's Control; Local Public Authorities' Auditing; General Objectives of Auditing for the Creation of the Local Public Finances and of State Assets' Management; and Cooperation of the CoA with the Law Enforcement Authorities.

The delegation of the Court of Accounts of Kyrgyzstan appreciated the openness of the CoA management and its employees, as well, the information offered by the Moldovan Supreme Audit Institution, counting on a further partnership in institutional development and adjusting to the best practices in public finance auditing.
