The Meeting of the Twinning Project Coordination Council

On 14 January 2016, there was held the fifth meeting of Coordination Council of the Twinning Project "Consolidation and Strengthening the External Public Audit in the Republic of Moldova". The council meets quarterly to analyze the results and to set priorities for the next periods.

At the meeting participated Ekaterina Yakovleva, the representative of EU Delegation, Coordinator Project Manager, Reijo Lindh and Jose Joaquin Gracia-Pando Mosquera, Twinning Project leaders of partner states, Angela Pascaru, Project Leader, Member of the CoA, Esko Mustonen, Twinning resident adviser, Viorica Verdes, counterpart resident adviser.

After welcome speech, Esko Mustonen presented the report on the activities and on the results achieved for the reporting period. Also was discussed the document regarding the document on the adjusting activities and objectives of the Twinning contract modifications to be made, which is unanimously supported by all stakeholders.

At the request of the coordinator of the EU Delegation E. Yakovleva, project leader of the CoA, A. Pascaru provided more information on the activities with civil society, as well as some aspects of coordinating the activities of the public external audit and internal audit.

The Project leaders have mentioned about the development of the beneficial /result of the project, which is appreciated and by the EU Delegation, establishing priorities for the next period, how to achieve the activities and organization of the expert missions, so to emphasize the achieving results quality and on deadline.
