SAI’s communication and transparency examined by Twinning experts

In the context of the Twinning Project „Consolidation and strengthening the external public audit in the Republic of Moldova", dated from 1 - 4 June 2015, the Spanish experts, Marisa del Valle and Conception Gutierez, are into a mission in Chisinau.  The component 4 of this project refers to the consolidation of the interaction within the Moldavian authorities and the enhancement of the impact of the Court of Accounts activity. The activity aims to establish the maintaining and enhancing measures of efficient relations with mass media and the civil society.

According to the agenda, on June 1^st took place a meeting with representatives of the Governmental Open Data Portal www.data.gov.md, and on June 2^nd was held a meeting with representatives of the Centre of Journalism Investigation.

At the meetings and workshops were discussed aspects of the communication strategy and practice of the CoA, was underlined the experience of Spain in this regard, and other project activities.

The Twinning Project aims to support the Court of Accounts in the enhancing functions, performances and its impact. It focuses on the implementation of activities planned under four components: the capacity building of the Court of Accounts, the reform on legal framework, the human resources management reform, strengthening interaction with the authorities of Moldova, and the increasing impact of the Court of Accounts.

Missions in Chisinau in the context of the Twinning Project

The sustainability of the state social insurance budget is influenced by the insufficiency of income, also determined by the phenomenon of „envelope wages”
