Study visit in Stockholm, Sweden

On 14-17 November 2016, the employees of the Court of Accounts had a study visit in Stockholm, Sweden. The visit was made within the Cooperation project on the institutional development between the CoA and SNAO.   

The delegation of the CoA was composed by Mrs. Sofia Ciuvalschi, Chief of general division of social audit sector, Mr. Iurie Ispas, principal state controller, Violeta Gutu, principal state controller, Liuba Bulmaga, principal state controller, Svetlana Purici, Chief of infrastructure and regional development audit division, Mr. Vasile Mosoi, Chief of financial audit division, Mr. Ion Bulmaga, Chief of budget division and Mrs. Violeta Balan, Chief of external relations and communication section.

This was the third multilateral visit of the Sweden, Latvia, Georgia and Moldova within the project.

The SAIs of the countries mentioned above were implicated in the activity of sharing the knowledge and practices which aim is to develop the capacities of performing the consolidated financial audits, including aspects of issuing audit opinions in accordance with the ISSAI. 

The purpose of this visit was taking the best practices and experiences from auditors of these SAIs. Therefore, these institutions have a rich experience in the financial audit, including reporting and consolidated financial statements and had an important contribution by sharing experiences and methodological practices, which were the base for new premise of adjusting the methodological framework existing at the CoA.
