Trainings organized by the trainers from the National Audit Office of Latvia

On 14-16 November, at the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova were organized trainings in the financial audit area and IT audit by the NAO of Latvia.

Mr. Veaceslav Untila, President of the CoA, welcomed Latvian trainers and the participants attending the seminar. Mr. Untila mentioned that hope for a productive collaboration between our SAIs, as well thanked our Latvian colleagues, for the training provided, Mrs. Ingrida Kalnina-Junga, Chief of IT area, Audit and Methodology Division and Mrs. Guna Krumina, state principal auditor. 

Following the agenda, in the first day were presented and discussed many topics, as: the mandate of state control of the Republic of Latvia, the types and scope of audits, introduction audit to IT development and state control of Latvia, Revision of annual reports on the state budget execution consolidated, Revision of rationality "Is it ensured the preservation of electronic documents in the National Archives?" Rationality review "Was the" e-Health in Latvia "a step in the right direction?".

About 35 employers of the CoA attended the trainings.

At this training were proposed more activities as: presentations, feedback, discussions, evaluations, etc.

We note that the trainings are held within the project "Capacity building of SAI in Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia in the integration of ISSAI" initiated by the SAI of Latvia.
